Gourmand World Cookbook AwardsFounded in 1995 by Edouard Cointreau,
the Gourmand World Cookbook Awards are assigned annuallly by a committee of notable gourmands and professionals from the cookbook sector. The competition first awards prizes on a national level in various categories. Winners from each country then compete for the top prize in each division.
